It’s hard for me to
say if I liked or not liked this movie. There were some scenes that I liked and
some others that were completely dull (it’s just my opinion, no offense to the
people who liked the movie).
My favorite character
on this movie is Marie, because even when her father flog her as a punishment
for go to the meetings at Jimmy’s hall, she didn’t stop going there, even with
her wounds.
What I liked about
the film is that this one is not as violent as “the wind that sakes the barley”
(and it’s not so long). And one thing that I didn’t like about this movie is
that I feel like there was not a climax, the entire movie was on the same level
of drama (with the exception of a couple of scenes), and the end was a little
bit boring (again, sorry if you enjoyed the movie).
My favorite scene was
when Marie showed up at jimmy’s hall after the mishap with her father, because all of the
people there supported and comfort her, that shows that they were all as a
family.
