As I mentioned
in my last blog, I want to do a lot of courses after finish this career. This summer I will be doing an intermediate excel course, because I think that everyone
should know how to use this tool, is very useful for engineers, secretaries, teachers
… is useful for everyone, especially for journalists that work in internal communications,
or organizational communications, in fact, when I was searching for an
internship, I realized that one of the requirements that companies have for
this job, is manage an intermediate level of excel.
I would
also like to do a ceremonial and protocol course next year (I have always
wanted to do this course, since I was in high school), but the most important post
grade course that I would like to do is a diploma on management on digital
marketing strategies or internal communications management at the pontificia Universidad
católica de Chile. These courses are part time, two or three days at week by
the afternoons, so doing one of these courses wouldn’t interfere with my job, of
personal time.
I think
that postgraduate studies are necessary, considering the high amount of journalists
that are working on Chile. Also, I believe that for the kind of job that I want
to do is vital to be learning new strategies every certain time, because the
way that people communicate an receive information is constantly changing,
especially now with the develop of new technologies.
(It
would be awesome if I can do a course at Columbia University in the future,
because this university has one of the best communication department in the
world … but fist I have to develop my skills on English language)

I didn't know this fact about the Columbia University :o thanks to share with us!
