(hopefully) My future job

The job that i would like to have in the future is in internal communications or organizational communication for any company, local government, ministries or things like that, because you can promote products and services through public relations initiatives, Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts, Coordinate conferences, trade shows or press interviews.

I think that in this job you can do both things, work indoors (mostly) and outdoors for the conferences, trade shows. My mom worked in something similar and she had to travel very often, I believe that it would be very fun and interesting to mix travels with job, this way there is always going to be something new to do, places and people to meet.  

When it comes to salary I think that journalists don’t get enough money for the job that they do. In this particular case, I have seen that you have to work very hard, even in your house or weekends so I would like to receive the salary that I deserve for the job that I will be doing at that moment. Enough money to buy my food, pay my bills, rent a apartment and travel once at year.

Right now I’m studying journalism, I’m on my 3th year, but I would like to do other courses, actually this summer I will be doing an intermediate excel course, then the next year hopefully I will be doing a ceremonial and protocol course, both at the pontificia Universidad católica de Chile. Also, in a couple of years I would like to do a diploma on management on digital marketing strategies  or internal communications management at the same university.
